Why Choose Our Oral Surgery Practice?
Choosing an oral and maxillofacial surgeon means choosing a team to guide you through both a surgical procedure and your recovery. At Drs. Oghalai, Krutoy & Toscano Oral, Facial & Implant Surgery, our goal is to provide experienced surgical care, clear communication, and an individualized treatment plan for every patient.
Board-Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons
Dr. Mark Oghalai, Dr. Jeffrey Krutoy, and Dr. Corey Toscano are all board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons complete extensive hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after dental school, preparing them to manage a broad range of conditions involving the teeth, jaws, mouth, and facial structures.
Meet our oral and maxillofacial surgeons.
Independent, Doctor-Owned Practice
Our practice is independently owned by oral and maxillofacial surgeons who live and practice in the communities we serve. We are not owned by a corporate dental organization or private equity group. The doctors caring for our patients are also directly involved in the decisions that shape our practice.
Independent ownership allows us to make clinical and practice decisions locally, with a focus on the patients, referring doctors, and communities we serve.
Comprehensive Oral Surgery Care
Our practice provides a broad range of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including wisdom teeth removal, tooth extractions, dental implant surgery, bone grafting, treatment of oral pathology, corrective jaw surgery, treatment of facial trauma, and All-on-X full-arch dental implants.
When treatment involves your general dentist or another dental or medical specialist, we work collaboratively to coordinate your care.
IV Sedation & Anesthesia
Our surgeons’ training includes anesthesia and the management of patients undergoing surgical procedures. Local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, IV sedation, and office-based general anesthesia are available when appropriate for the procedure and the individual patient.

Advanced Imaging & Treatment Planning
Three-dimensional imaging is available when appropriate to evaluate teeth, jawbone, nerves, sinuses, and other anatomical structures. This information can assist with diagnosis and surgical planning for procedures such as dental implant placement, impacted teeth, and other oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Clear Information About Treatment & Cost
We want patients to understand their treatment plan before surgery. Our team can review the recommended procedure, anesthesia options, expected recovery, and the fees associated with treatment.
Our office has no contracts with insurance companies, and we are happy to file insurance claims on your behalf whenever possible. We can also discuss available financing options when needed.

Two Convenient Office Locations
We provide oral and maxillofacial surgery in Winston-Salem and Mount Airy, North Carolina. Having two locations allows us to serve patients and referring dental practices throughout the surrounding communities while maintaining continuity of care within our practice.
Care That Continues After Surgery
Our responsibility does not end when a procedure is completed. Patients receive instructions for recovery and information about how to contact our practice if questions or concerns arise after surgery. Follow-up care is arranged when appropriate for the procedure performed.
