Dr. Corey Toscano
Dr. Corey Toscano is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Originally from northern Massachusetts, he attended Boston University, where he double majored in Biology and Economics and graduated summa cum laude. He then received the Air Force Health Professions Scholarship to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his DMD and received Honors in Dentistry for Radiological Sciences. He was also inducted into the Matthew Cryer Honor Society, an academic distinction awarded to the highest-ranking students in his class.
After dental school, Dr. Toscano entered active-duty service in the United States Air Force and completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency through the San Antonio Military Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program. He later served at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska, where he practiced full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery and helped train dental residents as an Assistant Professor through the Uniformed Services University.
Dr. Toscano is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. His clinical interests include dental implants, wisdom tooth removal, dentoalveolar surgery, oral pathology, bone grafting, and safe office-based anesthesia. He lives in Winston-Salem with his wife and two children and remains a devoted Boston sports fan.
